After graduating with honors from Vancouver Film School in August 2011, I have been working at Image Engine Design Inc. on feature films (Safe House, Elysium, R.I.P.D., Hayabusa) as a rigger. I have developed a high level of proficiency with python in Maya. I have written several tools and plugins that I (and my colleagues) use on a regular basis in production.
I spend time after hours on personal work - modeling, texturing, simulation and writing tools/plugins for Maya.
I am currently developing "Rigimanjaro," my own modular auto-rigging system.
I have been working in 3d software since I was a freshman in high school (2003). I used online resources and community to self-teach blender 3d, after effects, syntheyes and the whole of the adobe suite. Since I began I have touched on every subject in 3d and visual effects from roto, matchmove and comp to modeling, texturing, lighting and of course, rigging.
I have a fascination with figuring out what makes things tick. If I encounter a problem, I cannot stop thinking about it until I find a solution.
